Pilates
Valors' Speed and Agility classes target running mechanics, linear speed, lateral quickness, and sport-relevant cuts. Beginning with a dynamic speed warmup, we emphasize proper technique and footwork for any sport. We prioritize forming positive athlete habits, emphasizing proper form from warmup onwards. The curriculum includes purposeful speed drills, enhancing running technique, linear speed, and power output, followed by agility training focused on biomechanical efficiency in acceleration, deceleration, and reacceleration. Regardless of the sport or skill level, Ethos ensures comprehensive instruction, accountability, and preparation for staying ahead in competition.
Youth Speed & Agility
At Valor, our Youth Strength Classes are meticulously crafted to impart proper form and technique in a variety of functional, strength, and power-based lifts. Detailed attention to technique ensures that young athletes establish a strong foundation for their future endeavors. Each session encompasses a full-body lift, incorporating strength/weight training, while also emphasizing core development, balance, injury prevention, mobility, power performance, confidence, and mental toughness. Under the guidance of our highly trained coaches, youths engage in a supportive and educational group setting at Valor, preparing them for success in various sports.
